Mongo Football Academy

The Mongo Football Academy is one of the best football academy programs in Sydney. Our Academy Program introduces youth players to a more competitive football environment.

Philosophy:

Our philosophy is one of learning to play with creativity in an attacking manner. At Mongo Football, development is paramount while minimizing the pressure to win, and this philosophy transcends every training session and game.

Technical Team:

Our technical team is specially selected and trained to provide this introduction to competitive football in an environment conducive to learning and fun! Challenging training activities conducted by out technical team are the key ingredient in the personal development of our players. Training activities are devised to help each player improve their technical, tactical, physical and psychological strength. With emphasis in the complete development of each player, we are constantly achieving high level results in developing players who excel in individual skills, decision making, and mental strength.  Through our guided discovery teaching methods, the technical team challenges each player to develop their creativity and understanding in solving game related problems.  We look forward to welcoming your son and daughter to Mongo Football Academy.

Summer Futsal Program

Mongo Football is moving indoor for the summer in partnership  with the Northern Spirit Futsal Program. The main focus is to improve players overall technical ability within an active and high paced form of play. The format allows players to maximise touches on the ball, enhance passing and receiving abilities in tight spaces, and a chance to create a high scoring chances.

Format:

The main focus of the winter futsal program is to improve players’ overall technical ability within an active and high-paced form of play. The games will be played in a 4v4 or 5v5 format including goalkeepers. The format allows players to maximize touches on the ball, enhance passing and receiving abilities in tight spaces, and a chance to create regular high scoring opportunities. With skills development in mind, players will also be able to benefit from the opportunity to compete over the course of the Futsal season.

Entry Level:

The program is open to players of all skill levels that want to improve in a fun and exciting environment. Players will be organised by age and gender supervised by our qualified coaches.

Why Play Futsal?

Futsal is a fast paced 5 aside soccer game that is widely played across the world and is officially recognised by FIFA. While it can be a sport in its own right, Futsal does not compete with outdoor football but serves to support it. It is widely considered a valuable tool in the development of young players to assist them in becoming more technically proficient in high pressure game situations.
